Mobile Point of Sale (POS) Solution

Starmount’s mobile point of sale solution provides a low-cost access point for company associates to easily manage transactions outside the checkout counter or desk. It includes full functionality of a fixed-base POS system as well as integration with in-store databases.

- Issue/activate gift cards and perform balance inquiries
- Item and transaction modifications (Item Price Override, Item Quantity, Discounts, Sales Associate, Gift Receipt)
- Reprint receipt
- Cancel and suspend transactions
- Tender authorization with credit and gift cards
- Capture customer zip code or email
- Print or email receipt
The mobile application will be developed on the Starmount Application Framework, which is platform and operating system independent and easily integrates applications from point-of-service systems to inventory management tools. The framework can be extended to new mediums such as interactive kiosks and digital signage, enabling businesses to focus on their changing business needs instead of the underlying technology.
